Yes indeed, the Soup Sessions EP is finally with us. It’s got six lovely tunes on it, all recorded at Soup Studios in East London. It’ll be available at gigs and such for those who like to hold onto their music and it’ll only cost a fiver. Also, once we’ve worked out the technicalities, we’ll get it on iTunes or Bandcamp or some kinda thing like that so that you can download it.

Not the most enormous amount of news to post but we are still doing our thing. It’s a little quiet at the moment owing to unforseen circumstances.
However, we are working on the new EP and getting that all ship shape and ready for your delight and delectation. It should be available sometime in the autumn.There are no full line up gigs in the pipeline at the moment, though there may be the odd solo or stripped down acoustic performance before we return sometime from October onwards. We’ll probably sort out another Club Wino and combine that with a launch for the EP.

We’re (almost) all ready for this groovy show on Sunday. It’s the 20th Anniversary of Rock in the Priory and we have a lovely wee spot, just after 1.30pm, which is, coincidentally, Wino Time. Imagine that.
The weather is set fair, we’ve got a fabulous set (and perhaps a cheeky cover version) and all is for the best in the best of all possible worlds.

Club Wino will be back on Saturday the 12 March at the Underbelly in Hoxton Square as a special springtime treat for you all.
Your hosts, Neil Gowans & The Winos will be unleashing their new, yet to be titled countrified power-poptastic EP and to help them do that, there are a couple of newcomers to the Club Wino stage,
They will be joined by Los Ladrones De Amor, who specialise in a bruised but beautiful Latin Noir with echoes of the Clash, Cash & Cave.
The Blazing Zoos will also be there and they play both kinds of music, loudly and have been described as both ‘phenomenally marvellous’ and ‘really rather good, in a barnstorming, country punk sort of way’
So, make your way down Hoxton way in March for an evening of really quite splendid entertainment.
